Hello Everyone! I was so happy to see you all at the banquet at the Rocky Hill Marriot on February 2, 2008. It was very well attended with more than 220 members present. The night started off with a social hour with snacks and drinks at 6 pm followed by the awards presentation at 7 pm. To start the year off with a fund raising bang Gretchen Mathes brought out the you-pick-the-number board with this year having more grid numbers to choose from and the price of a grid being reduced to $10. The available prizes to choose from was outstanding .A portable dvd player,an ipod shuffle, Ariat boots, a stall at a FCF show, show clothes...the list was incredible! Thanks to everyone who donated items for the fund raiser. Amy Rader-Johnson won a beautiful custom jewelry piece designed and donated by Holly Spagnola. After the awards and dinner was dancing. Some of our youth can really break loose on the dance floor! The night was a great time and the effort was considerable...thank you to Carol Brekus-Watson for the awards and program, Natalie Olsen for the banquet and DJ, Amy Rader-Johnson ,Gretchen Mathes , and Grace Fortune for their MC duties, and Cindy Hawley for making the reciepients feel welcome as they recieved their awards. I cant wait to see you all in April at the first Falls Creek Farm show. See you there! Amy Collins :)
