Hello Region 6 Youth -
This year the AQHYA Community service project is for AGAPE` Therapeutic
Riding Resources Inc. We are asking for the help of each affiliate to help
us with this great cause!!From their inspirational roots and with the growing support of the community
and organizations like ours, Agape has become a NARHA Premier Accredited
center and one of the largest in the nation. Serving schools,
rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and families, Agape has met the needs of
over 10,000 individuals since 1986 and 2,235 of those served have been in
the past year!!!!
To name just a few of the programs they offer -
Therapeutic horse back riding, driving, vaulting, Mini horse visitation
program, Equine Assisted learning, Character Development program, and
Hippotherapy!!Their future depends on us, and you & your affiliate can make a difference
with your generous donation and support. Our gifts will go directly to
providing these life changing programs to individuals with special needs.
Join AQHYA as we strengthen our horse community by bringing hope, health and
happiness to children and adults with special needs!!!!We are asking each affiliate to donate as much as they can in gift cards to
various businesses, AGAPE` has recommended, Lowe's, Home Depot, Tractor
Supply and even Walmart!! They are in need of many bigger items, and AQHYA
thought that the gift cards would be the easiest to get to them, and they
could purchase what they needed.Please help support AQHYA community service and stay active in your

Hello Everyone -
I would like to announce a great way to WIN great PRIZES!!!! AQHYA Scholarship committee is sponsoring a fundraiser to raise money for the AQHA Foundation Scholarships. WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!
We are having a CALENDAR RAFFLE - Here is how it works
Attached you will find a calendar with over 28 prizes worth around $1300 - We are selling the calendars for $5 each and each day we will draw a name and that person will win the "PRIZE OF THE DAY" individual days are worth any where from $25 to $100 all you have to do is download the calendar, print it (copy it for more than 1 ticket) fill out the bottom portion and mail it back to me with a check for the number of tickets you want ($5 each) made payable to AQHYA. It is as easy as that!!!!

Time is running out for you to purchase your Calendar Raffle Ticket from AQHYA - This is a fundraiser that will support the AQHYA Scholarships. We are selling the tickets until January 31st, then on February 1st we start drawing names from the tickets sold and we will draw a name everyday in February - the name drawn is the winner of that days prize!!! AQHYA Member Kelsey Urban goes to thrift stores to buy jackets, which she applies Austrian crystals too and resales. She has made about $400 and one-third of that money has been donated to the children in Mozambique to protect them from malaria.
